Done with Excuses!

As you may know, I have been dealing with a frozen shoulder since December of last year.  I'm still going to therapy for it.  It occurred to me, as I have this week off, that I need to quit making excuses for my bad behavior  (not eating any veggies or fruit) or lack of behavior (i.e. tracking, working out, etc.) because of my shoulder and then I got sick.  There is no way that I will hit goal if I keep going this way.  I still had two gift cards from the holidays so I decided that I was going to give in and use them the way I had been thinking about for some time.  One of my best friends has a FitBit and loves it!  I decided that is how I would spend my gift cards.  Today, after Family Zumba at the Y (more on that in a minute), we walked from our house to Radio Shack so I could FINALLY pick one up!  I have it all set up now and I'm so excited!  It monitors sleep, how many steps you take, if you take the stairs and how many flights you take, how many calories you burn by workin

Friend Making Monday (Part Two)

Friend Making Monday...a day early

1) What is one of your favorite ways to spend a Saturday? We spend our Saturdays planning meals and shopping for them.  Beginning next weekend, the local Farmer's Market will be open every other weekend and I'm excited to go for the first time! 2) List your top three favorite TV shows.  It's hard to narrow it down to 3, but I enjoy watching Biggest Loser, Grey's Anatomy and Private Practice. 3) Would you rather be in pictures or take them?
